The aim of the European Congress of Adapted Physical
Activity (EUCAPA) is to disseminate reliable, latest
knowledge in the field of APA. The congress aims to
encourage efficient and longstanding co-operation
between various professions and experts within Europe
and world wide. EUCAPA is organized biennially.
The next EUCAPA will be organized in Finland as a
joint effort between University of Jyväskylä and Finnish
Society of Sport Sciences. We all are extremely proud that
the European Federation of Adapted Physical Activity
have authorized us to organize the Congress in Finland
and to serve as the patronage organization. Ministry of
Education in Finland is the main sponsor of the event.
Organizing this Congress aims, primarily, at serving our
colleagues and friends in this specific area of interest.
We do this gladly, and it is in this spirit that we want to
extend our warmest welcome to you. Please bring your
best scientifi c spirit and knowledge to Jyväskylä, so that
we can all enjoy the great progress of knowledge in the
field of adapted physical activity. Be also prepared to
come here fresh and well-charged: long days and short
nights demand special professional and social energy.
