CONGRESS VENUE
The Congress is organised in two different places in the city of Jyväskylä. On Thursday 6.May 2010 the program will be at the Congress and trade fair centre Paviljonki. On Friday and Saturday 7.-8.May 2010 the program will be at the Agora building, University of Jyväskylä.

Jyväskylä, whose population amounts to nearly 130 000 inhabitants, is a dynamic ‚“new wave town”. It is famous for its excellent achievements in science and technology, high-quality cultural activities and beautiful natural environment.
The Jyväskylä region can be reached easily by road, rail and air. The journey from Helsinki to Jyväskylä by air takes about 35 minutes. Using the Pendolino fast train, the journey from Helsinki to Jyväskylä can be accomplished in three hours.

Th e Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Jyväskylä is the sole university level institution of sport sciences in Finland. Th e APA, physiotherapy, gerontology and sports medicine as well as sport pedagogy and sociology, biomechanics, exercise physiology and coaching are major subjects in the Faculty.

From Helsinki international airport to Helsinki city railway station:
1) The taxi journey from the airport to the centre of Helsinki takes nearly half an hour and costs about 35-40 €. The taxi stations are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals.

From Jyväskylä airport to Jyväskylä city:
1) The taxi journey from the airport to Jyväskylä takes 15-20 minutes and costs about 35,00 €, tel. +358 14 106 900 or +358 100 6900.
